Nordic Crane Heavy Lift AB is based in Falkenberg, Sweden, and is a subsidiary of Nordic Crane Group. We carry out all types of heavy, high or complex lifting operations that require a mobile crane. Our main market is Scandinavia and we have a clear focus on the wind power industry, where we offer lifting both for service and during installation. And, of course, we take on contracts outside of the Nordic region.
We started by lifting Sweden’s first commercial wind power facility for Vestas in Faurås, just outside of Falkenberg in 1983.
Between 1983 and 2006, we lifted nearly 90% of all wind turbines in Sweden.
The company invested in two new Terex Demag CC 2800 cranes in 2006. These have a capacity of 600 tonnes and were necessary to meet the demands of our customers for greater and higher lifting capacity as more and more megawatt-rated turbines were installed. We purchased a further two large cranes in 2009, this time the Liebherr LG 1750, which, with its capacity of 750 tonnes was then the largest crane in the Nordic region.
Through our acquisition of BAXAB, now known as Nordic Crane Installation, we can offer a complete solution from factory to ready-to-use installation.
Feel free to contact us for a discussion of the solutions we can offer within lifting, transport, installation and project management.
